Product Description - Jungle Drum
Carludovica 'Jungle Drum' is named after Charles IV of Spain and Louisa, his queen. It is a genus of low-growing, palm-like stove plants. Flowers are of separate sexes, in squares arranged very close together in a spiral manner that form cylindrical spikes. Its leaves are stiff, plaite and have between 2 and 5 finger-like leaves on each stem. The species are very ornamental and several are eminently adapted for sub-tropical gardening.
Plant Care
Carludovica require High Light and a moderate amount of water. Grow in a mixture of two parts peat and one part sandy loam.
