| Light: | HIGH LIGHT | | Plant Care: | | | Grow the Bolivian Jew in bright to semi-shady locations. It will accept room temperatures in winter as well as cooler temperatures down to the limits of frost. Water it moderately but uniformly, but in cool winter locations keep it only slightly damp. Do not allow the plants to dry out; they react to irregular watering with leaf spots and leaf drop. Feed the Bolivian Jew from March to August every four weeks with a 20-20-20 fertilizer. Propagate by division. | | Facts: | | | From Corsica to Sardinia, this small-leaved carpeting plant is found in cracks of walls, between stepping stones, and on rocks in Italy. Anyone who has a greenhouse knows how fast it can spread on the benches. However, the Bolivian Jew is a decorative plant, perfect for growing in pots and hanging baskets. |
